    Welcome and Announcements

    Gathering the Family Together

    Oh How Good It Is

    Oh how good it is when the family of God

    Dwells together in spirit, in faith and unity.

    Where the bonds of peace, of acceptance and love,

    Are the fruit of His presence here among us.

    Refrain:     So with one voice we’ll sing to the Lord.

    And with one heart we’ll live out his Word.

    Till the whole earth sees the redeemer has come

    For He dwells in the presence of His people.

    Oh how good it is on this journey we share

    To rejoice with the happy and weep with those who mourn.

    For the weak find strength, the afflicted find grace,

    When we offer the blessing of belonging.

    Repeat Refrain

    Oh how good it is to embrace His command

    To prefer one another - forgive as He forgives.

    When we live as one we all share in the love

    Of the Son with the Father and the Spirit.

    Repeat Refrain

    Call To Worship

    Scripture Reading:                                                                  Psalm 133

    1 How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!

    2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard,
    on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes.

    3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion.
    For there the Lord ordained his blessing, life forevermore.

    Scripture Reading:                                                    Colossians 3:12-15

    12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

    13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

    14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

    15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

    Prayer of Invocation

    Declaring What We Believe

    This is Love (1 John 4:9-10)

    This is how God showed his love among us,

    This is how God showed his love among us;

    He sent his one and only Son into the world,

    that we might live through Him.

    This is love, this is love:

    not that we loved God, but that he loved us.

    This is how God showed his love among us,

    This is how God showed his love among us;

    He sent his one and only Son into the world,

    that we might live through Him.

    This is love, this is love:

    Not that we loved God, but that he loved us.

    And sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice,

    And sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

    This is love, this is love:

    Not that we loved God, not that we loved God,

    not that we loved God, but that he loved us.

    We Respond to God’s Presence

    Before You I Kneel

    Before You I kneel, my Master and Maker

    To offer the work of my hands,

    For this is the day You’ve given Your servant;

    I will rejoice and be glad:

    For the strength I have to live and breathe,

    For each skill Your grace has given me,

    For the needs and opportunities

    That will glorify Your great name.

    Before You I kneel and ask for Your goodness

    To cover the work of my hands,

    For patience and peace to shape all my labour,

    Your grace for thorns in my path.

    Flow within me like a living stream,

    Wear away the stones of pride and greed,

    ‘Til Your ways are dwelling deep in me

    And a harvest of life is grown.

    Before You we kneel, our Master and Maker;

    Establish the work of our hands,

    And order our steps to seek first Your kingdom

    In every small and great task.

    May we live the gospel of Your grace,

    Serve Your purpose in our fleeting days,

    Then our lives will bring eternal praise

    And all glory to Your great name.

  • Complete In Thee

    Complete in Thee! no work of mine

    May take, dear Lord, the place of Thine;

    Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,

    And I am now complete in Thee.

    Refrain

    Yea, justified! O blessed thought!

    And sanctified! Salvation wrought!

    Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,

    And glorified, I too, shall be!

    Complete in Thee—no more shall sin,

    Thy grace hath conquered, reign within;

    Thy voice shall bid the tempter flee,

    And I shall stand complete in Thee.

    Repeat Refrain

    Complete in Thee—each want supplied,

    And no good thing to me denied;

    Since Thou my portion, Lord, wilt be,

    I ask no more, complete in Thee.

    Repeat Refrain

    Dear Savior! when before Thy bar

    All tribes and tongues assembled are,

    Among Thy chosen will I be,

    At Thy right hand—complete in Thee.

    Sharing of the Elements

    We invite to the Lord’s Table all those who are baptized disciples of Jesus Christ and are under the authority of Christ and His body, the Church. By eating the bread and drinking the wine with us as a visitor, you are acknowledging to the elders of this local church that you are in covenant with God and an active member of a congregation in which the gospel is faithfully confessed, taught, and believed. You also acknowledge that you are a sinner, without hope except in the sovereign mercy of God, and that you are trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. If you have any doubt about your participation, please speak to the elders before or after the service.
