Welcome and Announcements
Gathering the Family Together
Whoever Fears the Lord
Whoever fears the Lord and lives as God intends
Will find the whole of life is filled with gifts he sends.
When work is more than toil and reaps a just reward,
When strength and health are ours, all these are from the Lord!
We celebrate the joys of home and family,
Where love’s enduring bonds provide security.
God nurtures every child for life’s demanding race;
Each day he offers us new fruitfulness, new grace.
His kindness is revealed where bitter conflicts cease;
Far more, within our hearts, his mercy brings us peace.
May God prolong our days to see our children’s heirs,
And may his gracious gifts be ours and also theirs.

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: Galatians 2:15-21
15 We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles
16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
17 But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!
18 If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.
19 For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

Declaring What We Believe
Westminster Larger Catechism
Leader:
Q. 126: What is the general scope of the fifth commandment?
Congregation:
A: In general, the fifth commandment outlines our obligations to others, depending upon our particular relationship to them, whether over, under, or equal to them.
Leader:
Q. 127: What kind of honor is owed to those over us?
Congregation:
- Those over us deserve respect in our hearts, our words, and our actions. We must pray and give thanks for them, emulate their virtues and gifts, willingly heed and obey their lawful commands and advice, submit to their correction, be faithful to them, and defend and support their persons and authority, as is appropriate to their rank and position. We must also tolerate their imperfections and infirmities and cover them with our love, so that we will be an honor to them and to their authority.
We Respond to God’s Presence
By Faith
Verse 1: By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation’s grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight
Verse 2: By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God's own hand
A place where peace and justice reign
Refrain: We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul’s reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We’ll walk by faith and not by sight
Verse 3: By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave
Verse 4: By faith the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In every corner of the earth
Repeat Refrain
Verse 5: By faith this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name
Repeat Refrain Twice

All Praise to Him
Verse 1
All praise to Him, the God of light
Who formed the mountains by His might
All praise to Him Who names the stars
That sing His fame in skies afar
All praise to Him Who reigns in love
Who guides the galaxies above
Yet bends to hear our every prayer
With sovereign pow’r and tender care
Verse 2
All praise to Him whose love is seen
In Christ the Son, the Servant King
Who left behind His glorious throne
To pay the ransom for His own
All praise to Him Who humbly came
To bear our sorrow, sin, and shame
Who lived to die, Who died to rise
The all-sufficient sacrifice
Verse 3
All praise to Him whose pow’r imparts
The love of God within our hearts
The Spirit of all truth and peace
The fount of joy and holiness
To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise
To Father, Son, and Spirit now
Our souls we lift, our wills we bow
To You, the triune God, we raise
With loving hearts our song of praise

Trust and Obey
When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain: Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey
Not a shadow can rise, Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, Not a sigh or a tear,
Can remain when we trust and obey. (Repeat Refrain)
Not a burden we bear, Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey. (Repeat Refrain)
Then in fellowship sweet We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, Where He sends we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey. (Repeat Refrain)
But we never can prove The delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows And the joy He bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey. (Repeat Refrain)
