Refrain: Sing out your praise to God, to the King sing out your praise.
- All peoples, clap your hands, shout your joy to God.
For God above is awesome, King of all the earth. (Refrain)
- The one who conquers peoples sets them at our feet
Chooses for beloved Jacob a land to be our pride. (Refrain)
- God ascends the hill to cheers and trumpet blasts.
Sing out your praise to God, to the King sing out your praise.(Refrain)
- For God rules the earth; sing praise with all your skill.
God rules over nations, high on the sacred throne. (Refrain)
- Alien rulers join the people of Abraham’s God;
All the powers on earth belong to God on high. (Refrain)

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: Jude 17-25
17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
18 They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”
19 It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
22 And have mercy on those who doubt;
23 save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Prayer of Invocation
Forgive Our Sins as We Forgive
- “Forgive our sins as we forgive,” You taught us, Lord, to pray
But You alone can grant us grace To live the words we say.
- How can Your pardon reach and bless the unforgiving heart
That broods on wrongs and will not let old bitterness depart.
- In blazing light Your cross reveals The truth we dimly knew:
What trivial debts are owed to us; How great our debt to You!
- Lord, cleanse the depths within our souls And bid resentment cease;
Then bound to all in bonds of love, Our lives will spread Your peace.

They’ll Know We Are Christians
- We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord.
We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the Lord.
And we pray that all unity may one day be restored.
Refrain: And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love.
Yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
- We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand.
We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand.
And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land.
(Repeat Refrain)
- We will work with each other; we will work side by side.
We will work with each other; we will work side by side.
And we’ll guard each one’s dignity and save each one’s pride.
(Repeat Refrain)
- All praise to the Father, from whom all things come,
And all praise to Christ Jesus, his only Son,
And all praise to the Spirit, who makes us all one.
(Repeat Refrain)

We are one in Christ Jesus, all one body, all one spirit, all together.
We are one in Christ Jesus, all one body, all one spirit, all together.
We share one God, one mighty Lord, one abiding faith, one binding love,
One single baptism, one Holy Comforter, the Holy Spirit, uniting all.

We Respond to God’s Presence
Psalm 84 D Blue Psalter, pg 515
“Almighty Lord, How Lovely Is That Place”
-
Holy Spirit, Living Breath of God
Holy Spirit, living Breath of God,
Breathe new life into my willing soul.
Bring the presence of the risen Lord
To renew my heart and make me whole.
Cause Your Word to come alive in me;
Give me faith for what I cannot see;
Give me passion for Your purity.
Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.
Holy Spirit, come abide within;
May Your joy be seen in all I do—
Love enough to cover ev’ry sin
In each thought and deed and attitude,
Kindness to the greatest and the least,
Gentleness that sows the path of peace.
Turn my striving into works of grace.
Breath of God, show Christ in all I do.
Holy Spirit, from creation’s birth,
Giving life to all that God has made,
Show Your power once again on earth;
Cause Your church to hunger for Your ways.
Let the fragrance of our prayers arise.
Lead us on the road of sacrifice
That in unity the face of Christ
Will be clear for all the world to see.

Children’s Sermon Hymn:
Ninth Commandment
You Shall Not Bear False Witness
Refrain: Honor the truth, love what is right;
You shall not bear false witness.
- God made the world by the work of His hand,
and made Him a people to live in that land.
Faithfully keeping the truth of His Word,
faithfully living at peace with their Lord. (Repeat Refrain)
- The children of God were compelled to obey,
To honor God’s law, and walk in His way,
Joyful in keeping their hearts on Him stayed,
Joyful in all the world He had made. (Repeat Refrain)
- Then came that serpent resolved to deceive
the children of God named Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve were convinced of his lie,
that obedience brings only misery. (Repeat Refrain)

May the Peace
- May the peace of God our Heav’nly Father,
and the grace of Christ the risen Son,
And the fellowship of God the Spirit
keep our hearts and minds within His love.
And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,
from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;
We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—
Christ eternal the King of Kings.
- May this peace which passes understanding,
and this grace which makes us what we are,
And this fellowship of His communion
make us one in spirit and in heart.
And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,
from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;
We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—
Christ eternal the King of Kings.
