Gathering the Family Together
Your Hand, O God, Has Guided
- Your hand, O God, has guided Your church from age to age;
The tale of love is written for us on every page.
Our fathers knew Your goodness and we Your works record;
And each of these bear witness; One church, one faith, one Lord.
Refrain: One church, one faith, one Lord of life;
One Father, one Spirit, one Christ.
One church, one faith, one Lord of life;
One Heavenly King, Lord of all.
- Your mercy never fails us, or leaves Your work undone;
With Your right hand to help us, the victory shall be won.
And then, by all creation, Your Name shall be adored;
With earth and Heaven singing: One church, one faith, one Lord.
Repeat Refrain

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: Romans 8:26-39
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Prayer of Invocation
Congregational Response:
Blow the Trumpet in Zion
They rush on the city, they run on the wall.
Great is the army that carries out His word.
They rush on the city, they run on the wall.
Great is the army that carries out His word
The Lord utters His voice___before His army,
The Lord utters His voice___before His army.
Chorus: Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion.
Sound the alarm on My holy mountain.
Blow the trumpet in Zion, Zion.__Sound the alarm.

Declaring What We Believe
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the virgin Mary;
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
Was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell;
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
The holy universal church; The communion of saints;
The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body;
And the life everlasting. Amen.
We Respond to God’s Presence
Sing to the Lord All You Saints of His
(Based on Psalm 30)
I will exalt You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up
And You have saved me from my enemy
That he cannot rejoice over me.
Oh Lord, I cried to Thee and You have healed me.
You brought my soul up from the grave.
You gave me life and shielded me.
Sing to the Lord all you saints of His
And give thanks - Remembering His holiness.
For weeping endures for a night,
But, joy cometh in the morning,
Yes, joy cometh in the morning.

Days of Elijah
These are the days of Elijah declaring the word of the Lord
And these are the days of Your servant, Moses,
Righteousness being restored;
And tho’ these are days of great trials
Of famine and darkness and sword.
Still we are the voice in the desert crying,
“Prepare ye the way of the Lord.”
Chorus: Behold, He comes riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call.
So lift your voice, it’s the year of Jubilee,
And out of Zion's Hill salvation comes.
And these are the days of Ezekiel, the dry bones becoming as flesh.
And these are the days of Your servant, David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
And these are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in the world.
And we are the laborers in Your vineyard
Declaring the Word of the Lord.
Repeat Chorus

Sermon Hymn:
Soldiers of Christ Arise
- Soldiers of Christ, arise, and put your armor on;
Strong in the strength which God supplies,
Strong in the strength which God supplies, through His beloved Son.
- Strong in the Lord of hosts and in His mighty power;
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts,
Who in the strength of Jesus trusts, is more than conqueror.
- Stand then, in His great might, with all His strength endured;
But take, to arm you for the fight,
But take, to arm you for the fight, the panoply of God.
- Leave no unguarded place, no weakness of the soul;
Take every virtue, ev’ry grace,
Take every virtue, ev’ry grace, and fortify the whole.
- That having all things done, and all your conflicts past,
You may o’er come through Christ alone.
You may o’er come through Christ alone and stand entire at last.

For All the Saints
All
- For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blessed. Alleluia, Alleluia!
Men & Boys
- Thou wast their rock, their fortress and their might;
Thou, Lord, their captain in the well fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, their one true Light. Alleluia, Alleluia!
All
- For martyrs, who with rapture kindled eye,
Saw the bright crown descending from the sky,
And seeing, grasped it, Thee we glorify. Alleluia, Alleluia!
Women & Girls
- O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
All are one in Thee, for all are Thine. Alleluia, Alleluia!
All
- O may Thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold. Alleluia, Alleluia!
Men & Boys
- And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave, again, and arms are strong. Alleluia, Alleluia!
Women & Girls
- The golden evening brightens in the west;
Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest;
Sweet is the calm of paradise the blessed. Alleluia, Alleluia!
All
- But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way. Alleluia, Alleluia!
All
- From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
Singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost: Alleluia, Alleluia!
Benediction
Now unto Him
Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling
And to make you stand in His presence
Blameless and with great joy.
To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
Be the glory and the majesty, dominion and authority,
Both now and forever. Amen
Give Him the glory and the majesty, dominion and authority,
Both now and forever. Amen (Jude 24-25)
