Thy Word
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
When I feel afraid, think I’ve lost my way,
Still You’re there right beside me.
And nothing will I fear as long as You are near.
Please be near me to the end.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
I will not forget Your love for me,
And yet my heart forever is wandering.
Jesus be my guide and hold me to Your side,
And I will love You to the end.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Declaring What We Believe:
The Greatest Commands
Verse 1 (Alto; All women first time through):
Love one another, for love is of God.
He who loves is born of God and knows God.
He who does not love does not know God,
For God is love, God is love.
Verse 2 (Bass; All men first time through this section):
Love bears all things,
Believes all things,
Love hopes all things,
Endures all things.
Verse 3 (Tenor):
God is love, God is love, God is love.
God is love, God is love, God is love.
God is love, God is love, God is love.
God is love, God is love, God is love.
Verse 4 (Soprano):
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart.
With all thy soul, all thy strength, all thy mind.
Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
For God is love, God is love, God is love.
We Respond to God’s Presence
Psalm 19B Blue Psalter, pg. 98
God’s Glory Fills the Heavens
Verse 1
God’s glory fills the heavens with hymns; the domed sky bears the Maker’s mark.
New praises sound from day to day and echo through the knowing dark.
Without a word their songs roll on; into all lands their voices run.
And with a champion’s strength and grace from farthest heaven comes forth the sun.
Verse 2
God’s perfect law revives the soul; its precepts make the simple wise.
Its just commands rejoice the heart; its truth gives light unto the eyes.
Forever shall this law endure; unblemished, righteous, true, complete.
No gold was ever found so fine, no honey in the comb more sweet.
Verse 3
God’s servant may I ever be; this world my joy, that word my guide.
O cleanse me, Lord, from secret sin; deliver me from selfish pride.
Accept my thoughts and words and deeds; let them find favor in your sight.
For you alone can make me whole, O Lord, my refuge and my might.

Light of God
- Light of God, come dwell within your people,
As intended from the dawn of time.
Make your goodness, echoed through creation, our desire;
Joy of The Divine.
Chorus: Holy Spirit, break through our darkness,
Holy Spirit, breathe through our lives.
Light of God, come, radiant and glorious;
Perfect wisdom in this world today.
- Light of God, come to Your fallen people,
As we follow in the steps of Christ.
May Your fragrance beautify Your people,
As we mirror our Creator’s light. (Repeat Chorus)
- Light of God, come claim Christ’s stolen glory.
Burn the shadows with the flame of Truth.
May Your church rise, stars in the darkness,
Giving glory to the Lord of Light. (Repeat Chorus)
- Light Divine, come Father of all beauty;
Son of goodness, Spirit of all Truth.
Move us, use us, people of Your vision,
As we wait for our returning King. (Repeat Chorus)

The Perfect Wisdom of Our God
1 The perfect wisdom of our God, Revealed in all the universe:
All things created by His hand, And held together at His command.
He knows the mysteries of the seas, The secrets of the stars are His;
He guides the planets on their way, And turns the earth through another day.
2. The matchless wisdom of His ways, That mark the path of righteousness;
His word a lamp unto my feet, His Spirit teaching and guiding me.
And oh, the mystery of the cross, That God should suffer for the lost
So that the fool might shame the wise, And all the glory might go to Christ!
3. Oh grant me wisdom from above, To pray for peace and cling to love,
And teach me humbly to receive The sun and rain of Your sovereignty.
Each strand of sorrow has a place Within this tapestry of grace;
So through the trials I choose to say: “Your perfect will in your perfect way.”

We invite to the Lord’s Table all those who are baptized disciples of Jesus Christ and are under the authority of Christ and His body, the Church. By eating the bread and drinking the wine with us as a visitor, you are acknowledging to the elders of this local church that you are in covenant with God and an active member of a congregation in which the gospel is faithfully confessed, taught, and believed. You also acknowledge that you are a sinner, without hope except in the sovereign mercy of God, and that you are trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. If you have any doubt about your participation, please speak to the elders before or after the service.
