We Sing the Mighty Power of God
1. We sing the mighty power of God that made the mountains rise,
that spread the flowing seas abroad and built the lofty skies.

We sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;

the moon shines full at his command, and all the stars obey.
1. We sing the goodness of the Lord that filled the earth with food;
He formed the creatures with his word

and then pronounced them good.

Lord, how your wonders are displayed, where’er we turn our eyes,

if we survey the ground we tread or gaze upon the skies.
1. There’s not a plant or flower below but makes your glories known,
and clouds arise and tempests blow by order from your throne;

While all that borrows life from you is ever in your care,

and everywhere that we can be, you, God, are present there.

Service at the Temple Restored

⁴⁴ On that day men were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the Law for the priests and for the Levites according to the fields of the towns, for Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who ministered.

⁴⁵ And they performed the service of their God and the service of purification, as did the singers and the gatekeepers, according to the command of David and his son Solomon.

⁴⁶ For long ago in the days of David and Asaph there were directors of the singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.

⁴⁷ And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.

Declaring What We Believe:

The Apostle’s Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;

Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the virgin Mary;

Suffered under Pontius Pilate;

Was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell;

The third day He rose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,

And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

From whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost;

The holy universal church; The communion of saints;

The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body;

And the life everlasting. Amen.
