Welcome and Announcements
Gathering the Family Together
Holy Is the Lord
We stand and lift up our hands, for the joy of the Lord is our strength.
We bow down and worship him now; how great, how awesome is he!
And together we sing:
Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the earth is filled with his glory.
Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the earth is filled with his glory,
the earth is filled with his glory.
It’s rising up all around, it’s the anthem of the Lord’s renown.
It’s rising up all around, it’s the anthem of the Lord’s renown.
And together we sing,¬ __ __ everyone sing:
Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the earth is filled with his glory.
Holy is the Lord God Almighty, the earth is filled with his glory,
the earth is filled with his glory.

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: I Chronicles 22:1-5
1 Then David said, “Here shall be the house of the LORD God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”
2 David commanded to gather together the resident aliens who were in the land of Israel, and he set stonecutters to prepare dressed stones for building the house of God.
3 David also provided great quantities of iron for nails for the doors of the gates and for clamps, as well as bronze in quantities beyond weighing,
4 and cedar timbers without number, for the Sidonians and Tyrians brought great quantities of cedar to David.
5 For David said, “Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David provided materials in great quantity before his death.
Prayer of Invocation
Declaring What We Believe:
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the virgin Mary;
Suffered under Pontius Pilate;
Was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell;
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
The holy universal church; The communion of saints;
The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body;
And the life everlasting. Amen.
We Respond to God’s Presence
Sing to the King
Verse 1 Sing to the King who is coming to reign.
Glory to Jesus, the Lamb that was slain.
Life and salvation his empire shall bring,
and joy to the nations when Jesus is King.
Refrain: Come, let us sing a song, a song declaring
that we belong to Jesus; he is all we need.
Lift up a heart of praise.
Sing now with voices raised to Jesus,
sing to the King.
Verse 2 For his returning, we watch and we pray;
We will be ready the dawn of that day.
We’ll join in singing with all the redeemed,
Cause Satan is vanquished and Jesus is King.
(Repeat Refrain)

He Will Reign
He will reign on the throne of David;
He will reign, Jesus, Messiah.
He will reign, glorious King and Savior;
God with us, our Lord Emmanuel.
At the right hand of the Father,
His kingdom now and forever,
Forever, and ever, He will reign!!

I Might Be Small
I might be small, but my God is big.
I might be small, but my God is big.
I might be small, but my God is big.

Sharing of the Elements
We invite to the Lord’s Table all those who are baptized disciples of Jesus Christ and are under the authority of Christ and His body, the Church. By eating the bread and drinking the wine with us as a visitor, you are acknowledging to the elders of this local church that you are in covenant with God and an active member of a congregation in which the gospel is faithfully confessed, taught, and believed. You also acknowledge that you are a sinner, without hope except in the sovereign mercy of God, and that you are trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. If you have any doubt about your participation, please speak to the elders before or after the service.
Declaration of Forgiveness
Communion Song:
Behold the Lamb
- Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away, slain for us—
And we remember the promise made
that all who come in faith find forgiveness at the cross.
So we share in this bread of life,
and we drink of His sacrifice as a sign of our bonds of peace
Around the table of the King.
- The body of our Savior Jesus Christ, torn for you—
eat and remember;
The wounds that heal,
the death that brings us life paid the price to make us one.
So we share in this bread of life,
and we drink of His sacrifice as a sign of our bonds of love
Around the table of the King.
- The blood that cleanses every stain of sin, shed for you—
drink and remember
He drained death’s cup
that all may enter in to receive the life of God.
So we share in this bread of life,
and we drink of His sacrifice as a sign of our bonds of grace
Around the table of the King.
- And so with thankfulness and faith we rise to respond—
and to remember
Our call to follow in the steps of Christ as His body here on earth.
As we share in His suffering, we proclaim Christ will come again!
And we’ll join in the feast of heaven
Around the table of the King.
