    Call To Worship

    Scripture Reading:                                                           Psalm 19:7-14

    7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul;
    the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

    8 the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
    the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

    9 the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
    the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.

    10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold;
    sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

    11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
    in keeping them there is great reward.

    12 Who can discern his errors?
    Declare me innocent from hidden faults.

    13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins;
    let them not have dominion over me!

    Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.

    14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    be acceptable in your sight,

    O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

    Prayer of Invocation

    Declaring What We Believe:

    Red Hymnal #295                            “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”

    We Respond to God’s Presence

    O Sing My Soul

    1. Oh, sing my soul the ancient song and lend your highest praise

    To Him who is the king of old and dwells in endless days.

    How resplendent His glory! How majestic His name!

    Now to the uncreated One, oh, let the anthem raise!

    1. Oh, worship Him, our Father God, the Spirit and the Word

    Who fashioned all things from His joy and saw that it was good.

    What perfection of friendship, what communion we shared.

    But choosing death we fell from life beside the guilty pair.

    1. Now hear my soul the gospel song; attend the joyful news.

    For Christ has come the perfect Son, His Father’s will to choose.

    In our place He did suffer. In our place became sin.

    The death of death, the death of Christ who stands alive again.

    1. Now people of the risen Lord, Oh hear the call to go.

    Into the world we have been sent as messengers of hope.

    Christ alone be our treasure; Christ alone our reward.

    Come bid the nations. Sing with us the praises of the Lord.

    I Will Glory In My Redeemer

    Verse 1

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    Whose priceless blood has ransomed me

    Mine was the sin that drove the bitter nails

    And hung Him on that judgment tree

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    Who crushed the power of sin and death

    My only Savior before the holy Judge

    The Lamb who is my righteousness

    The Lamb who is my righteousness

    Verse 2

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    My life He bought, my love He owns

    I have no longings for another

    I’m satisfied in Him alone

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    His faithfulness my standing place

    Though foes are mighty and rush upon me

    My feet are firm, held by His grace

    My feet are firm, held by His grace

    Verse 3

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    Who carries me on eagles’ wings

    He crowns my life with lovingkindness

    His triumph song I’ll ever sing

    I will glory in my Redeemer

    Who waits for me at gates of gold

    And when He calls me, it will be paradise

    His face forever to behold

    His face forever to behold

    Children’s Sermon Song:

    What A Mighty God We Serve

    1. What a mighty God we serve. What a mighty God we serve.

    Angels bow before Him. Heaven and earth adore Him.

    What a mighty God we serve!

    1. We will praise our mighty God. We will praise our mighty God.

    We will praise the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    We will praise our mighty God!

    We Worship Through Hearing

    Sermon Hymn:

    In Christ Alone

    In Christ alone my hope is found,

    He is my light, my strength, my song.

    This Cornerstone, this solid ground

    Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.

    What heights of love, what depths of peace

    When fears are stilled, when strivings cease.

    My Comforter, my All in All,

    Here in the love of Christ I stand.

    In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,

    Fullness of God in helpless babe!

    This Gift of love and righteousness

    Scorned by the ones He came to save.

    Till on that cross as Jesus died

    The wrath of God was satisfied

    For every sin on Him was laid

    Here in the death of Christ I live.

    There in the ground His body lay

    Light of the world by darkness slain.

    Then bursting forth in glorious day

    Up from the grave He rose again.

    And as He stands in victory

    Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me.

    For I am His and He is mine,

    Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

    No guilt in life no fear in death.

    This is the power of Christ in me.

    From life’s first cry to final breath

    Jesus commands my destiny

    No power of Hell, no scheme of man

    Can ever pluck me from His hand.

    ‘Til He returns or calls me home

    Here in the power of Christ I stand.

    May the Peace

    1. May the peace of God our Heav’nly Father,

    and the grace of Christ the risen Son,

    And the fellowship of God the Spirit

    keep our hearts and minds within His love.

    And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,

    from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;

    We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—

    Christ eternal the King of Kings.

    1. May this peace which passes understanding,

    and this grace which makes us what we are,

    And this fellowship of His communion

    make us one in spirit and in heart.

    And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,

    from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;

    We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—

    Christ eternal the King of Kings.
