I will delight in the law of the Lord,
I will meditate day and night.
Then, like a tree firmly planted,
I’ll be grounded in Your Word. Repeat

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: Psalm 119:1-8
1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord!2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart,3 who also do no wrong,
but walk in his ways!4 You have commanded your precepts
to be kept diligently.5 Oh that my ways may be steadfast
in keeping your statutes!6 Then I shall not be put to shame,
having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.7 I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous rules.8 I will keep your statutes;
do not utterly forsake me!Prayer of Invocation
Declaring What We Believe:
We Believe
(Apostles Creed)
Refrain: We believe in one true God; Father, Spirit, Son;
One Church, one faith, one Lord of all—His Kingdom come.
- We believe in God the Father Almighty, Lord of Life;
Creator of the Heavens, the earth, the sea, the sky;
And we believe in Jesus, the only Son of God;
Born of the virgin Mary; He lived as one of us. (Refrain)
- We believe that Jesus suffered, was beaten, crucified;
He died and He was buried; entombed in darkest night.
The third day rose victorious; ascended into Heaven;
Will one day come to judge us, the living and the dead. (Refrain)
- We believe in God the Spirit, One Church empowered by Him;
Communion of God’s people; forgiveness of our sin.
Our bodies resurrected to everlasting life;
To worship, love and wonder before the throne of Christ. (Refrain)

Keep What You Have Believed
(2 Timothy 3:14-17)
- Keep what you have believed, continue what you learned,
Because you know from whom you learned the Holy Word of God.
That Word will make you wise through faith in Jesus Christ;
Salvation comes to those who trust in God with steadfast hope.
- All Scripture is God-breathed, and useful for our lives
To teach, rebuke, correct, and train in righteousness and faith,
So that the church may grow, God’s people be equipped
For all good work to serve our God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I Will Wait Upon the Lord (Psalm 40)
Refrain: I will wait upon the Lord for he will hear my cry.
He has pulled me from the grave and set me by his side.
He has set my feet upon the solid ground of the Cornerstone.
- He has put a new song on my tongue.
A brand new song of praise to our God, to our God. (Refrain)
- Many will hear the things you’ve done for me.
And many more will see the power of your deeds, of your deeds.
(Refrain)
- God will not remove his mercy from me.
His goodness and his truth have set me free, set me free. (Refrain)
- Lord, you’ve always been my help and my strength,
And I will trust in you to hear me again, hear me again. (Refrain)

King of the Ages
Refrain: King of the Ages, Almighty God;
Perfect love, ever just and true
Who will not fear You and bring You praise?
All the nations will come to You.
- Your ways of love have won my heart,
And brought me joy unending;
Your saving power at work in me,
Bringing peace and the hope of glory. (Refrain)
- Your arms of love are reaching out
To every soul that seeks You.
Your light will shine in all the earth
Bringing grace and a great salvation. (Refrain)
- The day will come when You appear
And every eye shall see You.
Then we shall rise with hearts ablaze
With a song we will sing forever! (Refrain)

Let the Earth Resound
- Let the earth resound with songs of praise
to the Father’s power and love;
For the One who set each star in place chose to set His heart on us.
To the One whose might gives victory, yet whose mercies never cease;
As the tapestry of history tells the story of His grace.
Chorus:
King Immortal Faithful God; Crowned with splendour, rich in love.
Let the heavens and the earth resound with songs of praise to You.
- Let the earth be stilled before the sight of a Father’s sacrifice
That revealed the depths of love divine in the face of Jesus Christ.
Through a life of full obedience and a death in agony,
He removed the rebel’s punishment and He set the pris’ner free.
Repeat Chorus
- Let the earth resound with songs of faith at the wonder yet to come,
When all sin and pain are put to death
and the Church and Christ are one.
When we stand as God’s great family and we meet the Father’s gaze,
And share in His eternal joy as we join in ceaseless praise.
Repeat Chorus

Sermon Hymn:
Psalm 119:9-16 (Beth) ב
Grant me understanding, that I may live.
- How can young people keep their way pure? *
By guarding it according to your word.
- With my whole heart I seek you; *
do not let me stray from your commandments.
Grant me understanding, that I may live.
- I treasure your word in my heart, *
so that I may not sin against you.
- Blessed are you, O Lord; *
teach me your statues.
Grant me understanding, that I may live.
- With my lips I declare *
all the ordinances of your mouth.
- I delight in the way of your decrees *
as much as in all riches.
Grant me understanding, that I may live.
- I will meditate on your precepts, *
and fix my eyes on your ways.
- I will delight in your statutes; *
I will not forget your word.
Grant me understanding, that I may live.

It Is Well with My Soul
- When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Refrain: It is well, (It is well,) with my soul, (with my soul,)
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
- Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul. (Repeat Refrain)
- My sin—oh, the bliss of this glorious thought—
My sin—not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul! (Repeat Refrain)
- And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so—it is well with my soul. (Repeat Refrain)
