    Christmas Carol Prelude

    Ring the Bells

    1. Ring the bells on Christmas morn’,

    Jesus is born and the angels resound with their song of joy;

    For this Baby Boy is the glory of heaven on earth.

    Refrain:     And the sound of “Hosannas” fill the sky

    As the Son of heaven comes down to man;

    Look! Our redemption draweth nigh

    With the birth of the great I AM.

    1. Ring the bells on Christmas morn’,

    Join with the angels and shepherds who gather

    to celebrate and annunciate the glory of heaven on earth.

    Refrain:     And the sound of “Hosannas” fill the sky

    As the Son of heaven comes down to man;

    Look! Our redemption draweth nigh

    The First Noel

    The first Noel the angels did say,

    Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay;

    In fields they lay keeping their sheep,

    On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.

    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.

    They looked up and saw a star

    Shining in the east beyond them far,

    And to the earth it gave great light,

    And so it continued both day and night;

    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.

    And by the light of that same star

    Three Wise Men came from a country afar,

    To seek for a king was their intent,

    And to follow the star where ‘ere it went;

    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel.

    We Three Kings of Orient Are

    We three kings of Orient are, Bearing gifts we traverse afar,

    Field and fountain, moor and mountain, Following yonder star.

    Chorus:

    Oh, star of wonder, star of night Star with royal beauty bright

    Westward leading, still proceeding Guide us to the perfect Light.

    Born a babe on Bethlehem’s plain, Gold I bring to crown Him again;

    King forever, ceasing never; Over us all to reign.

    Repeat Chorus

    Go Tell It On The Mountains

    Refrain: Go, tell it on the mountains, over the hills and everywhere.

    Go, tell it on the mountains that Jesus Christ is born!

    When I was a seeker, I sought both night and day;

    I asked the Lord to help me. And He showed me the way.

    Repeat Chorus:

    In the time of David, Some said he was a king,

    And if a child is true born, The Lord will hear him sing.

    Repeat Chorus:

    Prayer of Invocation

    Leader:          Today our Savior was adored by the Magi.

    Let us also worship him with joy as we pray:

    People:          Light from Light, shine on us this day.

    Leader:          Christ, you revealed yourself in the flesh,

    People:          Sanctify us through prayer and the word of God.

    Leader:          Christ, your witness was the Spirit,

    People:          Free our lives from the spirit of doubt.

    Leader:          Christ, you revealed yourself to the angels,

    People:          Help us to feel the joy of heaven on earth.

    Leader:          Christ, you were proclaimed to the nations,

    People:          By the power of the Holy Spirit open the hearts of all.

    Leader:          Christ, you generated faith in the world,

    People:          Renew the faith of all believers.

    Leader:          Christ, you were taken up in glory,

    People:          Enkindle in us a longing for your kingdom.

    We Respond to God’s Presence

    O Children, Come!

    Hear the cry from Bethlehem, O children come

    Son of God now born to men, O children come –

    Bring your troubles, bring your fears,

    Bring the needs that draw you near,

    Find the hope of all the years – O children come! O children come!

    Peace on earth good will to men, O children come

    Righteous rule that will not end, O children come –

    Lay down all your bitterness,

    Turn from sin’s toil and distress,

    Find His grace and perfect rest – O children come! O children come!

    Where the Father’s grace has walked, O children come

    Where you see the hurt and lost, O children come –

    Show the mercy shown to you,

    Gifts of kindness to renew,

    Love from hearts sincere and true – O children come! O children come!

  • Christmas Blessings

    1. God so loved us that He gave His one and only Son,

    To ransom sinners from the grave, and save His precious ones.

    Refrain:   And this joy of giving all we have is revealed to us in Christ,

    When He came to us on Christmas Day as the perfect sacrifice.

    1. God incarnate came to earth, for joy He bore the shame.

    Endured a lowly human birth, to take the human’s blame.

    (Repeat Refrain)

    1. Bring your treasures; lay them down before your Savior’s feet.

    For He has blessed us all around with wonders good and sweet. (Repeat Refrain)

    Worship Christ, the newborn King.

    Watching o’er your flocks by night,

    Yonder shines the infant light:

    (Refrain)

    Verse 3:    Lord of Heaven, we adore Thee,

    God the Father, God the Son,
