    Welcome

    Psalm 98

    Verse 1:     God has done such marvelous things

    Sing to the Lord a new song.

    God’s great might all the earth now sings.

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    God’s great power now is shown.

    “God has triumphed,” make it known.

                                  Sing it out, sing it loud and strong;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Verse 2:    Justice, love, and peace abound;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Israel’s strength in the Lord is found.

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    When in need the people did call,

    God’s great might was shown to all

                                  Sing it out, sing it loud and strong;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Verse 3:    Sing with the harp and the trumpet strong;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    To the Lord let your praise prolong.

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    To the King lift up your voice.

    Shout your praise, in God rejoice.

                                  Sing it out, sing it loud and strong;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Verse 4:    Seas be glad, let the oceans roar,

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Praises sound from shore to shore.

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    God now comes to rule in might.

    God brings justice, truth and light.

                                  Sing it out, sing it loud and strong;

                                  Sing to the Lord a new song.

    Scripture Reading:                                             Ephesians 5:1-2, 15-21

    Walk in Love

    1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

    2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God…

    15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

    16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

    17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

    18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

    19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,

    20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

    21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

    Psalm 32B                                                                  Blue Psalter, pg 208

    “You Are My Hiding Place”

    Part 1:        You are my hiding place,

    You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance,

    Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

    Part 2:        I will trust in You

    Let the weak say I am strong, in the strength of the Lord.

    May the Peace

    1. May the peace of God our Heav’nly Father,

    and the grace of Christ the risen Son,

    And the fellowship of God the Spirit

    keep our hearts and minds within His love.

    And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,

    from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;

    We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—

    Christ eternal the King of Kings.

    1. May this peace which passes understanding,

    and this grace which makes us what we are,

    And this fellowship of His communion

    make us one in spirit and in heart.

    And to Him be praise for His glorious reign,

    from the depths of earth to the heights of Heav’n;

    We declare the name of the Lamb once slain—

    Christ eternal the King of Kings.
