Scripture Reading:                                                              2 Peter 1:3-7

Confirm Your Calling and Election.

³ His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,

⁴ by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

⁵ For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,

⁶ and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,

⁷ and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

Receive the Glory

For Your faithfulness and steadfast love,

Receive the glory, the glory belongs to You.

1. All that we’ve accomplished You have done for us.

And any fruit we harvest is a gift from Your hand.

We are only jars of clay that hold a priceless treasure.

And we exist to bring You pleasure, O God.         (Chorus)

2. Only by Your mercy can we come to You.

Though we deserved Your judgment You have called us by name.

So we glory in the cross of Christ that made us Yours forever,

We Respond to God’s Presence

Come Praise and Glorify

Come praise and glorify our God, the Father of our Lord

In Christ He has in heav’nly realms His blessings on us poured

For pure and blameless in His sight He destined us to be

And now we’ve been adopted through His Son eternally

In Him our sins are washed away redeemed through sacrifice

What Grace is Mine

1. What grace is mine that He who dwells in endless light

Called through the night to find my distant soul.

And from his scars poured mercy that would plead for me

That I might live and in his name be known.
