Welcome and Announcements
Gathering the Family Together
There is a Redeemer
There is a Redeemer, Jesus, God’s own Son,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One.
Thank You, O my Father, for giving us Your Son;
And leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done.
Jesus, my Redeemer, Name above all names,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, hope for sinners slain.
Thank You, O my Father, for giving us Your Son;
And leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done.
When I stand in glory I will see His face,
And there I’ll serve my King forever, in that holy place.
Thank You, O my Father, for giving us Your Son;
And leaving Your Spirit ‘til the work on earth is done.

Call To Worship
Scripture Reading: Galatians 6:1-10
1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.
5 For each will have to bear his own load.
6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Prayer of Invocation
Declaring What We Believe
The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made; of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven;
he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,
and was made man.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom will never end.
And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life.
He proceeds from the Father and the Son,
and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
He spoke through the prophets.
We believe in one holy universal and apostolic church.
We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and to life in the world to come. Amen.
We Respond to God’s Presence
May the Peoples Praise You
- You have called us out of darkest night into Your glorious light
That we may sing the wonders of the risen Christ
- May our every breath retell the grace that broke into our strife
With boundless love and deepest joy with endless life
Chorus: May the peoples praise You; Let the nations be glad
All Your blessing comes that we may praise
May praise the Name of Jesus
- All the earth is Yours and all within each harvest is Your own
And from Your hand we give to You to make Christ known
- May the seeds of mercy grow in us for those who have not heard
May songs of praise build lives of grace to spread Your Word
Repeat Chorus
- This our holy priv‘lege to declare Your praises and Your name
To every nation, tribe and tongue, Your church proclaims
Repeat Chorus
Bridge: Holy, holy is the Lord Almighty
Worthy, worthy is the Lamb Who was slain
Holy, holy is the Lord Almighty
All creation praise Your glorious Name
Repeat Chorus

There is an Everlasting Kindness
- There is an everlasting kindness You lavished on us,
When the radiance of heaven came to rescue the lost.
You called the sheep without a shepherd to leave their distress
For Your streams of forgiveness and the shade of your rest.
- And with compassion for the hurting You reached out Your hand
As the lame ran to meet You and the dead breathed again.
You saw behind the eyes of sorrow and shared in our tears;
Heard the sigh of the weary, let the children draw near.
Refrain: What boundless love, what fathomless grace
You have shown us, O God of compassion.
Each day we live an offering of praise,
as we show to the world Your compassion.
- We stood beneath the cross of Calvary and gazed on Your face
At the thorns of oppression and the wounds of disgrace;
For surely You have borne our suffering and carried our grief,
As You pardoned the scoffer and showed grace to the thief.
Repeat Refrain
- How beautiful the feet that carry this Gospel of peace
To the fields of injustice and the valleys of need.
To be a voice of hope and healing, to answer cries
Of the hungry and helpless with the mercy of Christ.
Repeat Refrain

Children’s Sermon Hymn:
All My Heart, Mind, and Strength
Song 6: You Shall Not Murder
Refrain:
You shall not murder---forgive your brother
Cherish you sister---and love each other
We know that these bear the image, we bear the image of God
- Cain brought his off’ring to God; fruit of his toil in the sod
Abel from flocks he did keep; brought God the best of his sheep.
(Repeat Refrain)
- Abel God’s favor did gain; not so, the off’ring of Cain.
Caving to anger and strife; Cain took from Abel his life.
(Repeat Refrain)
- Children, all loved by the Lord; do not resort to the sword
Formed by our Father above; we are the work of his love.
(Repeat Refrain)

Sermon Hymn:
Magnificent, Marvelous, Matchless Love
1 Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love;
too vast and astounding to tell.
Forever existing in worlds above,
now offered and given to all.
Oh, fountain of beauty eternal;
the Father, the Spirit, the Son.
Sufficient and endlessly generous:
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
2 Creation is brimming with thankfulness,
the mountains, exultant they stand;
The seasons rejoice in Your faithfulness,
all life is sustained by Your hand.
You crown every meadow with color;
You paint every shade in the sky;
Each day the dawn wakes as an encore of
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
Refrain: How great, how sure His love endures forevermore.
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
3 What grace, that you entered our brokenness;
You came in the fullness of time.
How far we had fallen from righteousness,
but not from the mercies of Christ.
Your cross is our door to redemption;
Your death is our fullness of life;
That day, how forgiveness flowed as a flood:
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
Refrain: How great, how sure His love endures forevermore.
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
Bridge: United in your resurrection, You lift us to infinite heights.
Could anything sever or take us from
magnificent, marvelous, matchless love.
Refrain: How great, how sure; His love endures forevermore.
Magnificent, marvelous, matchless love. (Repeat Refrain)

We Are Sent Forth in Worship
to Share the Gospel
We Go to All the World
- Facing a task unfinished, That drives us to our knees.
A need that, undiminished, Rebukes our slothful ease.
We, who rejoice to know Thee, Renew before Thy throne
The solemn pledge we owe Thee To go and make Thee known.
- Where other lords beside Thee Hold their unhindered sway:
Where forces that defied Thee, Defy Thee still today.
With none to heed their crying For life, and love, and light,
Unnumbered souls are dying And pass into the night.
Refrain: We go to all the world, With kingdom hope unfurled.
No other name has power to save But Jesus Christ the Lord.
- We bear the torch that, flaming, Fell from the hands of those
Who gave their lives proclaiming That Jesus died and rose.
Ours is the same commission, The same glad message ours:
Fired by the same ambition, To Thee we yield our powers.
Refrain: We go to all the world, With kingdom hope unfurled.
No other name has power to save But Jesus Christ the Lord.
- O Father who sustained them, O Spirit who inspired,
Saviour, whose love constrained them To toil with zeal untired.
From cowardice defend us, From lethargy awake!
Forth on Thine errands send us To labour for Thy sake.
Refrain: We go to all the world, With kingdom hope unfurled.
No other name has power to save But Jesus Christ the Lord. (Repeat Refrain)
